Bound sailing course in the Florida Keys from January 4th-January 9th as
part of the Transitioning Veterans Program. All student veterans welcome to
inquire and apply. The application process only involves a 10-20 minute
interview in person or on the phone. Several slots are still available.

 

This isn't just for new, incoming students. It applies to any current students and those who would be new to UT in the spring. It will be fun and transportation is provided.

Let's cut loose this Friday, June 17th at the Kung Fu Saloon. They have a ton of fun things going on there with retro video games (pac-man, donkey kong, NBA Jam, etc.), skee-ball, and even board games and fun stuff like Jenga and Hungy, Hungry Hippos! We'll meet there at 7pm and leave whenever you feel like it. It'll be fun!

Beat the Heat

Tubing
It's getting hot out and we should get together to cool off, Texas style. I'm orgainizing a float on the Guadalupe River to take place near the end of summer, or whenever enough people are interested in doing it. We can get a discount on tube rentals with a shuttle and carpool to make it economical for everyone. If enough people are interested in camping for the evening we can take care of that as well, we wouldn't want anyone driving home after downing 10 beers on a river float in direct sunlight. We can try for one in mid-July and then another one right before school starts up again in August. Last years was a blast so don't miss out on this one.

Military appreciation night at Dell Diamond

Hello everyone!
There will be a military appreciation night at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock on June 27th. If you come by 6:30, you will get a free hot dog and soda and will be able to have face-to-face interaction with the veteran service organizations in our area. Contact SVA if you would like more information about this event.
